What Recala is

Recala is a site for finding land in Chiloé and a buyer-side brokerage service: we look after buyers, and a real estate broker from the island accompanies them through the visit and the purchase. Recala does not own the properties it shows.

Property information

Each property is listed with its owner's authorization and with the details the owner provides. Anything not confirmed says “to be confirmed”: we don't fill in details we don't have. Price, size, services and distances are for reference: they are confirmed at the visit and in the review of the documents (title certificate, mortgages and liens, tax appraisal) before signing.

The map shows approximate areas, not the exact location, unless the owner agreed to show it. Distances are in a straight line and the satellite imagery is for reference: it may not be up to date. We regularly confirm with the owner that the land is still available; if it isn't confirmed, it stops being shown.

Requesting a visit

Requesting a visit is free and doesn't commit you to buy. When you request it, you agree that Recala and the broker who shows you the land may message you on WhatsApp to arrange it; sharing your price range is optional. The visit is booked once we confirm a day and time with you; if you can't make it, let us know and we'll find another date.

New land notifications

If you ask us to notify you, we'll message you on WhatsApp when land matching your request is published. To stop receiving them, reply NO to any of those messages.

Fees

Using the site is free. If you buy land you found through Recala, the broker's fee is disclosed and agreed in writing before you sign any offer, promise or deed. The site does not take payments or online reservations.

If you sell your land

Sending us your land's details from “Sell your land” doesn't commit you to anything. We only list a property with the owner's written authorization and under the terms of the brokerage agreement, signed separately. The owner is responsible for the information they provide.

Using the site

You may use the site to look for land for yourself or for someone you represent. Bulk copying of listings, photos or texts, trying to access the team's panel, disrupting the site or using it for unlawful purposes is not allowed.

Brand and content

The Recala name, its logo and the site's texts belong to Recala. Property photos belong to their owners or to Recala. The area photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their licenses, with their author shown; the satellite imagery belongs to Esri and its providers.

Liability

We take care that the information is correct and up to date, but the site may have interruptions or errors. The decision to buy is made after visiting the land and reviewing its documents. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Chile's Law 19,496 on consumer protection.

Who is behind it, governing law and contact
